Do You Enjoy Shopping at a Thrift Store?

One of my favorite things to do is to go to a Thrift Store. What treasures you can find if you have a couple hours to browse. It's like a mini-vacation away from the cares of the day.
Recently, I found this nice little silver dish that had two little golf clubs and a small golf ball on it. I gave it to my oldest son, who is an avid golfer. It's just perfect to drop his change or tees in when he gets home. It was brand new in a box. He liked it a lot.
His wife collects glass tea pots and I have found a couple of those for her. You can always find teapots at the Thrift Store and some of them are so adorable.
And books. I'm crazy about books. I read all the time. I especially look for "trivia" books and I have several dozen of them. One has 10,000 questions and answers.
My brother likes Louis L'amour books, so I always look for those for him.
I always find something when I go to Thrift Stores. And even if I don't, it's just fun to walk around and look at everything. It never ceases to amaze me, when I see all the variety of knick-knacks and odd statues and unusual things that are available at these stores.

Thrift stores are a lot of fun, just to look around and see what you can find. We have several in our area and I enjoy stopping by when I am running errands. I didn't stop today, but I usually do. It was a little cold outside today, in the high 40s. Not bad but I just wanted to get home.

I absolutely love thrift stores! I enjoy reading as well and I can always find some good books in there.

Yes, most Thrift Stores have many shelves of books and they cost very little. Some are like new. And such a wide variety.

@IreneVincent I love visiting thrift shops. I once found a beautiful painting for my living room for only $15. I have found many things in thrift shops including designer clothes with the tag still attached. Unfortunately it seems that the prices are going higher and higher lately.
