People in the Singapore working overseas

Hi Guys, been considering going to Singapore because a lot of people have been there for work especially Filipinos. How has it been working there? Is it worth being away from the family and earn for the future? Me, just want to find the right timing in resigning from my work here at present.

I'm a Singapore citizen, and I'm letting you know that the standard of living here is very high. Everything here is so expensive. It's almost impossible to even buy a house with the minimum wage we're given. Purchasing a car is even more ludicrous.
However I am also quite curious as to why Filipinos are interested to work here though. Care to enlighten why? :)

I dont know thats why I made this discussion. Most probably because the wages can be high when you already have experience and have a good paying job. Salary and expenses are proportional no matter where you go thats my opinion.
