Oh My Amazon!

Okay, I'm done with them. I spent all day yesterday emailing back and forth about the payment for the book I sold. They indicated to me that my credit card information was not up-to-date therefore they could not make the transaction. The credit card information WAS up-to-date. I kept insisting someone call me but no one did. I deleted my credit card information and put it in again. My banking information is the same as it has been for 30 years. This morning I received an email that funds are held in unavailable until January 3rd and then released to available. They indicated that they understood (via my messages) that I had updated my credit card information but they did not indicate whether it was valid. Am I going to find out come January 3rd that my credit card is invalid? I am so fed up with them. I sure as heck am not using them again. I still have books listed on there. I upped some of the prices to cover postage and I will leave them there for the time being. In the meantime I will find another means to sell my books. I am becoming financially desperate and things like this aren't helping.

I have considered setting up my own website, even came up with a name for it. Not sure I have the time for it though. It will take a lot of time to load all the books I have to sell. For the record, I got an email from Amazon yesterday advising that my payment is now being processed. But I still took a loss.

You should see a pending transaction show up the day before your payment is scheduled to be processed. When they run mine, it shows up as $0.00 and then disappears within a day or two. As long as your card information and bank account information are correct, your payment will be processed without any issues.

I used the credit card today so at a car dealership so there is nothing wrong with the card information.
