Soooo, 2016 starts in just a couple of days, and that means a lot of "resolutions" will be flying around.
I'm actually ending 2015 a good 15 pounds lighter than I entered it, but I still have about 100 pounds to get rid of.
Have any of you ever used the site Diet Bet? You can pay in a certain $ amount, and if you lose 4% of your body weight in 4 weeks, you win some of the dough paid in.
I would like to try it. I mean, who DOESN'T want to get paid to lose weight.
BUT...its a minimum of $10 to get in a game, and I only have $3 in my paypal.
Oh well. I guess I'll just have to keeping losing it for free.
Do any of you have weight loss or healthy resolutions for 2016?

All the best with the diet, I've never heard of the website.

Thank you. As a life long yo-yo dieter, I need all the encouragement I can get.

@kevin1877uk I have not set my smaller goals. I need to lose 100 all together from my current weight. That would be just a tinge over 8 pounds a month that I need to lose.

Is that working well for you? I'm not overweight enough to qualify, but an internet friend is getting it done soon.

I would never win if you include bet in doing some diet. i rather do it out of my own free and desire, having a bet make it challenging but a total fear of compliance. but Im starting to do some diet and exercise since last month.

I think knowing I'd get some money for doing something I'mm going to do anyway would motivate me more.

I have read a suggestion before to write a cheque to a charity you DISLIKE. That way you are inspired to lose the weight and tear up the cheque. Your betting site made me think of that.
In the fall Weight Watchers had an add to get your money back if you lost 10 pounds in two months. I signed up but I only lost 7 pounds. Any way it was still worth it. I thought that would be a great incentive!

Weight watches never works for me. Anything that takes that much math...I drop out of it. I never can memorize the points for all the foods like some people can.
I don't have any money to spare, but the thought of earning some extra would be great. 4% of my body weight is something like 9 pounds. Surely I could drop 9 pounds in a month.
Still don't have the cash to buy in though so, too bad. lol
