Seven Memories from My Childhood

This was started by Lori A Moore. So here's my list. 1. The park had a nice hill. At the bottom was a major road. I was maybe 5 or 6 and I would roll down that hill. It was so much fun. I always came to a stop at the sidewalk, so never ended up in the road, good thing. Mom never found out. 2. Grandma's house. We would slide down the stairs on our bellies head first. What fun. 3. Blue Angels air show at KI Sawyer Air Force Base in Upper Michigan. 4. Mackinac Island. I loved the Grand Hotel, all the fudge shops, and the re-enactment of a Revolutionary War battle. 5. Trout Lake Campground - though I hate camping, I did like this campground. It had a loggers camp and two trails you could walk. I spent a lot of time at both the trails and the loggers camp. 6. The night we spent at Grandma's house and the northern lights were seen. First we saw all the different colors on our walls, then we went outside and saw them. It was great. A once in a lifetime event for this part of the country. 7. Ice skating. The first time I went they put me in the middle of the whip. It was great fun skating all over the ice and watching as people were flung off the end of the whip. I could skate real good by the end of the day. Okay, so there's my list.
