Today I came across this ad which says to be part of a program of Google called Google Local Guides. Its a bit interesting for me.
What you have to do is to just review the places like hotels, Convention centres, museums, theatres and whatever the places which people visits in google maps. Its a way to help the people out there and you also get some benefit from it like early access to new google features, Exclusive invitation to google events etc.
I think you should try this out. What do you think?

I have never heard of it before but it sounds pretty awesome. It will help other people make up their minds too on which places to visit after reading the reviews. I mean I personally don't like reading reviews for I like to look at something for myself and make up my own mind but I am sure others base their opinions on other peoples opinions.

Yes it is definitely worth using. If for example I visit your town I can see what you recommend. I think though some people put reviews that are quite malicious and unhelpful so you should take reviews with a pinch of salt and try and strike a balance between the negatives and positive reviews like you would do on Tripadvisor.
