I popped online earlier to check my emails. I used the desktop {I mostly live on my tablet} because it suits surveys more. Having wangled a few 'points win prizes' at Swagbucks, I tootled off to the Land of Online Sales in search of Christmas card multi-packs.
Call me Scrooge. Call me a skinflint. Observe my tightwaddedness with disdain and scorn. I'm not fussed. I had a less than enthusiastic time buying Christmas cards this year. I simply wanted a pretty, well-priced, decent-sized pack or two of cards. Something that screamed, this is me and I'm giving this bit of me to you! Christmas cards are ridiculously expensive, so I ended up with some little cards which were okay, but not really me, and thus I decided that I'd take a gander in the sales.
I think that either everyone else had the same idea and beat me to it, or that Father Christmas only produced enough cards for this year and failed to supply a surplus of stock for cheapskates like me to pig out on.
Bah, humbug.
I shall just have to look in Tesco at the weekend. Of course, I'll end up doing that 'thing' of putting them in a safe place and then forgetting them until I've already splashed the cash on some more next year.
I had a dream about Stephen Merchant {British comedy actor & writer} last night. We were spooning and he was telling me that he will be in more episodes of The Big Bang Theory, because obviously I'm subconsciously worried that he won't be. I don't even like him in that way, although I do rate him highly as a comedy actor. I wonder why we needed to be spooning when he eased my worries.
Hmmm ...

I have never liked or understood those e-cards, so less of them is a good thing!
