Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Mann Ki Baat has shown great heart with Viklang (Differently abled), and has decided to call describe them as Divyang (Heavenly abled).
Several disabled organisations welcomed this move and celebrated the New Name, however, giving a new and loving name was not going to appease handicapped people for long .
In few days majority of handicapped people are showing their displeasure over it, because in caste reserved India, persons with disabilities suffer the worst.
Many are even challenging Mr Modi to remove caste based reservation and give them (Divyang) fresh chance. (This is perhaps not possible because vote bank will not allow this, and disabled people are not vote bank)
With very less availability of jobs and education, and higher reservation on the basis of caste, there is more demands from differently abled (or say Divyang)

Hear hear
Only if it could help much.
The PM alone can't do much until the root cause of their poor treatments isn't addressed.

Everyone knows that, but it is duty of PM to check the root cause instead of supporting it (Ambedkar, Phule etc) It was Phule who started action against differently abled the word Dalit was coined by him for disabled elimination, worked by Periyar in his anti disabled riots, and supported by Ambedkar by giving birth based reservation to Dalit and making them vote bank community
