Its the end of 2015 and beginning of a new year. As new year arrives we usually promise new resolutions some of us work on it others don't. But this time i need a promise from everyone of you that we will not forget humanity. I know you might be thinking what is wrong with me but when you would come to know the cause of such weird demand you will definitely help me with this. Do you know how many terrorists attacks took place in 2015? Do you know how many people died or suffered injuries? how many families were destroyed? how many rapes took place? how many died due to poverty? how many are the sufferers of the corrupt system? how many kids got involved in drugs? how many cases of human trafficking were seen? I think the answer is NO, one cannot have the exact access to the figures and even if any of yours answer is yes.. what was your contribution towards it? I ask myself the same question. We are too busy in our lives that we cannot find time for social services, but there is one thing that is in-built in our human system and that thing is HUMANITY. We cannot stop attacks but we can help ones who are brain washed in the name of religion, we can help the poor people to earn something, we can console them who have lost their loved ones, we can help a girl eve-teased in public/ or asking for genuine help, we can fight this corrupt system by not taking and giving bribe, we can help kids with love and affection and we can help people to start their life all over again. Maybe it won't help them much but if all of us will start helping, someday they can get back to their normal lives. I know its easy to speak and write but difficult to follow but i also know that, charity begins at home so from now on I will at least try to help the needy ones and won't forget the first rule of being human i.e, HUMANITY , which is above every religion and relation!!

Sadly some of the most inhumane people are those who are so into their religion they forget what it means to be human. They get so caught up in talking about God that they forget what it is he put them on this earth to do. I don't always do my share to help people, but I most certainly don't add to the pain and suffering if I can help it. I think as long as we all try to be good people we will help each other without having to remind ourselves. There's a certain feeling about giving to someone who can't pay you back. It's a wonderful feeling, and that's enough to make you want to keep giving.

@righttotheheart It feels better when they can't help us back, because then you know you're really able to do something for someone else. If they can't help you back that just means they need the help all the more.

@sissy15 that's right may the person we helped will help the other person in need and the chain goes on. And i agree with you that helping someone without demanding anything is help in its true sense
