The Trine is another poem, like a previous post of mine, the Pleiades, which has something to do with the stars--or at least, heavenly bodies--in this case three planets forming a 120 degree triangle.
The rhyme pattern for the Trine is a-a-b-b-c-c-a-b-c
There doesn't seem to be a set syllable count for each line, though they should probably be similar.

As two thousand sixteen comes
And the clock behind me hums
Wonder if I will make it?
Before the T.V. I'll sit;
In my journal I will write,
Until the end of the night
And the late hour my brain numbs.
Getting too old, I admit
I turn in 'fore morning light.

I hadn't heard of a trine before, but that was very cool.

Thank you, Stephen , it was the first I'd ever heard of the Trine, too. ;) It's always fun for me to find a new poetry form. ;)
