Low Key NYE

New Year's Eve for me consisted of having my best friend over - grown ups sleep over! My friend never spends the night at people's homes because of a medical condition, but I convinced her we could make it work - and we did. We ordered way too much pizza and drank an insane amount of soda (neither of us really drink alcohol). We watched college football all day and night. It ended just in time for us to catch a few songs from the rapper Pitbull on his NYE special as they counted down to midnight in the central time zone. We lasted about 15 minutes after midnight before she crashed on the couch and I went to bed.
We both slept until noon this morning!

I just spent a little time with the family here. Nothing too special. I wished I could have gotten together with a few friends I hadn't seen in ages. Adult or not, sleepovers are still fun! When we do get together, my friends and I usually end up making it a sleepover. Of course we usually get wasted, so it's good enough reason to stay put.
