Pet Peeves: Do You Have Any?

I have several pet peeves. The first one I will mention is that there are not enough FEMALE architects, especially architects that design houses. Why do I say that? Because me, it seems to me, that men don't understand what women NEED in their houses. Like what, you ask? More outlets. More closet space. More storage space. Overhead lighting in every room. Ceiling fans. A mud room. A laundry chute. Why are most houses designed with the laundry room in the basement when all the dirty laundry is upstairs? I have actually designed my "DREAM" house with all of the above and the rooms arranged the way I want them. Now if I just had the money and the land to build it. Oh well, I can dream, can't I? Or maybe I should say, I can complain, can't I? I'll tell you some more pet peeves later. Tell me about your pet peeves.

What a great point you make friend. It is silly isnt it that a laundry be in the basement for example. And a mud room is an absolute must to me. Maybe when I can I will become an architect lolz

More girls should think about that when they go to college. They could change the world of home builders.

My pet peeves are that I don't take about my pet peeves (just joking ) When I am in the middle of watching a very good show or move and , the cable goes out . However , when it comes back on something different is on , Only to have someone tell me the ending ! Living in a two room apartment without a bedroom .

@IreneVincent we had enough room when we moved in, but now and don't ask me how or where all this stuff came from. We are lucky if there is enough room too walk around. Thanks for responding back to me. Have a wander and safe evening.

My husband and I lived in what is called a garden apartment in Denver. The couch made into a bed and we had a kitchen and bath. Not much room but it was enough at the time. We had just gotten married.

I've mentioned it before, I'm sure. My main one is people who text and drive.

And I want clothing designers to give women's skirts and trousers pockets in them!
