How do you view the New Year

I was talking to a few of my friends and they all say the same thing. The New Year is no different than the old year same ole, same old. So how do you view the new year?

This is the worst new year I have ever known in my life. Usually there is something to celebrate, but not this year. So that is my honest take on it friend. I know misery guts haha

I always tried to welcome the New Year with hope, but this year I have no hope
