Goodbye to Lucy ....plod on George ! / myLot

Lucy and George are the two Yorkshire terriers that reside in the next door caravan to us in Somerset. Brother and sister they were 15 years old last July ( you do the maths on dog years v human .....) Anyway, we do tend to adopt them when we are all there and when they come round to visit us after the initial fuss and cuddles they trot off to the 'treat cupboard'. Yes they know exactly where to go and never intend coming away til their bellies are suitably full.... Sad to say that Lucy was sent to doggie heaven a couple of days ago x Her eyesight and hearing was very very limited and general health failing fast. It is a sad time for us all and I worry for George being on his own after a lifetime of being with his sister. Goodbye Lucy xxx Plod on George xxx

Pets become a part of our families. I hate saying goodbye.

That is very true. We kind of knew in October when the season finished at the caravan park that we may not see her again next season. Still hard to take though.

That is very true. Our dog was certainly part of the family. Have you lost many ?

@Traceyjayne A few over the years. two horses I adored were the hardest for me.
