Can peace be achieved through volence?

I don't think peace can be achieved through violence.....if understanding is there, there will be peace.....there should be mutual understanding to attain peace and by taking on volence situation just become worse...what do you say of this?

No Never Peace cannot be achieved through violence.
Peace is also achieved by non-violence and Gandhi giri

yes...most of the people will come out with answer "NO"...but starngely, the first answer what i got for this discussion was "Yes"..strange isn't it?....peace can only be achieved only through proper understanding and not by violence....

oooops...you mean peace cab be achieved by violence...how? can you prove this? i thought everybody will come with "No" answer and here you are responding first saying "Yes"..strange.!...can you elaborate your statement here....how peace can be achieved through violence....!
