Advice for selling art in a gallery?

I have found myself in a position to show and sell my artwork in a gallery. I have for years struggled to find ways to sell my works and became very excited to be invited to show in a newly opened gallery. With that being said there are all kinds of questions that have come to mind such as , How do I price my stuff? What's a acceptable amount of work to submit? Should I stick to one medium or is it OK to mix ? As if these were not enough questions to choke the perverbial horse, I was then told I needed to create a artist Bio. Oh crap. So now I'm wondering how much about myself do I include? Do I stick to the facts? Is any of this relevant? I'm prob over thinking this. Actually I know I am. But just the same advice is much needed.

Talk to experts and other artists - don't over-price your work - sell some even at a loss if need be to be able to say you are a commercial artist - Well done on getting the exhibition. I hope it is a huge success for you - Note, I don't draw or paint at all.

You've scored a great opportunity - well done! I wish I can help you with more advice but I really am not an artist so I have even less ideas than you have... Is there someone from the gallery that you can talk to and get some ideas, perhaps?

I check out prices. I know that someone who has already established a reputation can usually expect to earn more than someone without. Also what market are you appealing to.
