Filtered and Edited Pictures

I am sure that most of us here have Facebook accounts, and have tons of experience sharing and posting our own pictures. Now there was this new lady that a friend of ours is dating, and we are just so curious to meet her. he said that she lives in a town 3 hours drive from us, so it will be a little tricky given that the road conditions lately are challenging. Last week, turns out that she's in town visiting him. So he decided to invite everyone to his place so he can introduce his girl. We have seen her pictures on Facebook so we pretty much have an idea what she looks like. Imagine our shock when we saw that she looks nowhere near to her pictures on Facebook. Looks like her pictures on social media are heavily filtered and edited that she literally looks like an entirely different person. On friend can't help telling her upfront that she "looks prettier and different on Facebook". I almost pinched her, but surprisingly the girl thanked her and said she thinks it's a complement.
