We had guest at our home and they bought some ice-cream with them two days ago. I got a couple of scoops as soon as they left, lol. I really love ice-creams. So eveyone had some from it by the day itself and a little about 3 or 4 scoops were still left in the container. We planned it take it for days after it. We dont usually do this as atleast I will clean up the ice cream container by the day we buy it . But this time, there was a bit left. So we put it in the freezer. When I took it yesterday night I saw that water is separated from the cream and the cream looked like foam. I havent seen it happen before. I think there is a problem with our freezer, or is it the ice cream?. Should we consume it on the day we buy it?

I think it is a problem with your freezer and if there is then I suggest not buying anymore ice cream or anything that needs to be frozen. Pretty good excuse to eat the ice cream in one day actually lol

Yeah it was the freezer who ruined my ice cream. And yes I got a good reason to eat it all in one day!

It happened to my ice cream too. It's because I set my freezer to a minimum. It's unfortunately not freeze enough to keep ke ice cream in shape. Whenever I have to storage some ice cream I will set my freezer to maximum

I think if the ice cream looks differently, it is better not to eat it. After all, you will lose your appetite since it has a strange look. Besides, if it is not clean already, it is easy for you to feel sick after eating this ice cream. You know today going to see a doctor can be very expensive and you will not feel well, too. You can use the medical money to buy many ice cream already. So don't take a risk

Us it loquid or still solid? THe freezer may not be working well, but if it is still solid I is allright to eat it. Try a bit and if it is not sour, it is fine.

Its in a state in between them, I mean the water is running around the container and the cream is bit softer than before. The taste is different, and I just didnt like it.

If the ice cream no longer looks like ice cream I would toss it out.

Normally ice cream remains as it is in the freezer, it's a problem with your freezer then.....and yes, you've lost the tasty ice-cream!
