So I did end up coming my ramen noodles which I have been craving for for days. I did not have time to make my broth from scratch, so I cheated by using beef broth from the supermarket. I put it to a boil together with beef stew cubes, added some seasonings and a pinch of chili sauce. Then I tossed in my ramen noodles which I have on stock from last year's trip to the Asian store. I put some cabbages, green onions, and egg to make it a little more healthier. My boyfriend wanted some too, which surprised me because he is typically a pancakes and eggs kind of guy for breakfast. He loved it and we finished the pot. Thank goodness I only cooked good enough for two or we will be over eating.

Next time when you go to the Asian store, you can get the dry version. The way to cook it is simple too. You boil the water, put the ramen in, take it out after a minute or so, then put the vegetables in, and take them out. You add seasoning to the ramen, and vegetables, and you have it dry.

Ohhh, I love the dry version, but I do not really know how or whats the best way to cook it. I will follow your instructions next time. We are out of stock of the noodles and other asian seasonings.

I am usually a pancakes type of gal, but right now ramen noodles sounds really good because it's cold out! Adding other ingredients to enhance the noodles is great! I like to add ham, onions, eggs, lettuce generally to mine but your combination sounds great!

My friend likes to add spam and eggs over easy on her ramen noodles. Not exactly healthy but it sure hits the spot.

If you are find of soups or noodles this is something to try. I do not suggest the instant ones because while they taste good, they are not nutritious and they have high salt content.
