Regretfully, snow has finally come to southern Illinois

At least there isn't much of it, and it isn't expected to stick around long.
We're supposed to get 1-3 inches total tonight, with it expected to be melted off Monday.
With the temperature dropping, it may make the roads a bit slick tomorrow since we had rain all day today, but it could be much worse.
At this same point last year, the schools had already used up several snow days, they haven't used any yet this year.
Used to love snow when I was younger, just not much of a fan of it these days.
Ah well...it's winter, it's to be expected...

We are supposed to get 3 inches overnight in my neck of the woods too.

I don't care for it much, it was a contributing factor to the wreck that killed my sister's oldest son a few years ago

We need some here or we will have no water in the spring and the agriculture and farming sectors are desperate. If it doesn't snow in winter then it isn't really winter

The temperature dropped to freezing around 3 this afternoon. The rain changed to snow. I am not a fan.
