I talked to a Pittsburgh Steelers fan today who was mourning the team's loss to the Vikings last night. What that fan didn't know was that all those tears were totally unnecessary.
This fan had turned off the game when the Vikings were leading 16-15 with just over a minute left, and star QB Ben Roethlisberger out with injury. It certainly looked like the game was over.
But what they missed when they turned the game off before the final tick of the clock was that in that last minute, Roethlisberger returned, even though he was in great pain, and led the Steelers to a field goal to win the game 18-16.
Just goes to show, never give up!

What's even worse is when fans in the stadium get up and dash to their cars, only to hear of their team's amazing comeback on the radio. Must be frustrating, but they deserve it!
