Shocked this morning to learn of the death of David Bowie, just a few days after Lemmy Kilmister died. Lost my Mom to it as well as several friends. All the anger, and no where to direct it...you can't grab Cancer by the throat and beat it to a bloody pulp, although that is what I wish I could do. Someday, maybe we'll find a cure...

Sorry for the loss of your mom. My sister passed away due to cancer and every time I hear about someone passing from this dreadful disease, I become enraged as well. Hopefully a cure can be found and when it is, I really hope treatment will not be difficult to obtain for all who suffer from this monster. Enough is enough and cancer needs to go far, far away and never come back!!

When there's really nothing you can do but watch them die, it really tears your soul apart

You are absolutely right about this. Anyone who doesn't know the experience first hand will never truly understand the devastation, heartbreak or life long effects on the loved ones left behind that witnessed the torment, nightmare and agony. :( {{hugs}}

My condolences. I've lost my grandfather to cancer, 11 years ago. Maybe they'll be a cure for cancer.

@enlightenedpsych2 My condolences. I've lost my aunt 9 years ago next month from emphysema, and 2 years for my mother from COPD/CHF, also next month.
