I lost around $3500 to someone I trusted

I try not to let it get me down so much but when you owe people suddenly and it's not even your fault, let's just say there's not a day that I'm not praying for a miracle. All of my business funds and savings gone in an instant because a "friend" was able to access my account in my own computer. I went to his house only to find him gone, with his family who knew nothing of what has happened.
My son and I spent Christmas with almost nothing. I'm way in over my head as to how we're going to survive. About $1500 of those funds weren't mine either. There is nothing worse than being broke and owing people who are ready to beat down at your door, demand their money back in an instant. I've been searching for ways on how to earn enough money so that I can pay them back. I can't take out a loan since I'm unemployed. I earned mainly from the Internet thru what we Filipinos called a "paluwagan".
A "paluwagan" is a simply an informal investment of sorts where you put in money, and depending on the cash flowing in from other investors, sometimes they'd give a time frame when you can expect your money together with the profit. Other people will call this high-yield investment programs or HYIP, like those websites parading around the Internet promising high returns only to one day disappear . Our version of this HYIP doesn't come with a crudely made website. All we needed is a group page in a popular social networking site and a bunch of people willing to risk it all for a profit knowing the risks of entering an unlicensed business with a handful of admins that don't come with any financial degrees whatsoever.
I profited from this business many times over, as people left and right are opening new ones as soon as a current "paluwagan" went bust. So now that I don't have any seed money left and I barely have allowance for my son and I, I'm still trying to look for stuff I can do where it would be possible for me to earn around $100 to $150 per week just so I could pay off people one by one per week and still have something to spend for my son and me. I don't want to return to "paluwagan" anymore as it is just too risky and there had been incidents when a person would start one and then disappear on people after a week or so.Too bad I don't live in the states, as there are more institutions or businesses willing to help people with some quick cash. At least seemed that way to me. At this rate, I'm willing to offer whatever service I can for a year for $1500 now and $2000 for the rest of the year probably doing some odd jobs online, like, if someone needs me to do a lot of typing, I can offer 8 hours of my time per day. This is a bit of a stretch as I don't even know if people would even a take a chance on me and if such an offer seems too out there, perhaps?
I'm just hoping that I'll be able to scrape enough funds in time for my son's enrollment on May this year.

How can he even access the money?
Do you have password in your computer? Do you save the password for your online banking?
I think that is an important lesson.
You just have to learn to protect your information online.
Next time, choose a password that you can remember without writing it down.
You can choose a password that combines name and birth date of someone you know, that is almost unbreakable by normal persons.
Such as Your son's first name followed by his birth date DDMMYY

@maxen07 I think the culture in your country is very different from ours.
For us, relatives and friends do not visit each other at home, unless it is with invitation or Chinese New Year.
We meet outside for meals and shopping instead.
So there is no risk that someone will come in and use our computer.
