Public speaking I have no problem doing it. This year my childhood best friend dad die this past spring 2015. After the main speaker the pastor or misnster ask if any one else would speak. My mom could not make it to the funeral so she told to leave message . So I decided to go up and speak and honor my friend dad since he was like a second dad to me. But on the way up to the stage I was kind of klutzy . I all most trip over the coffin I could my friend dad laughing very hard if I did trip over the coffin but I caught my self. I rally did not want to trip over the coffin. It would not look good. There was a lot of people at this funeral . I think it was the Jaycees that help be become better at public speaking. But even in high school I had no trouble speaking in front of a group.

When I was still in school, I have no problem in speaking in public. Mainly because I know at the back of my mind that we are all struggling to hone our skills and our teachers are there to guide us. But now in the corporate world, I find it hard to speak in public especially if it's an impromptu one. I feel like I am being put right on the spot with all other professionals waiting for what I have to say. I think instead of being more confident I became even more shy. But as always, practice makes perfect. I'm glad you did not trip. I know your friend's dad will not mind at all but it will be embarrassing in front of other people.
