Diving into Cosplay

For those of you who don't know what cosplay is I will explain. Coplay is when people put in lots of work to create costumes of their favorite characters from video games, shows, movies, comics, etc... I have only done a few simple ones because I didn't really have the confidence to go all out on a really big one. Now that i am getting myself into shape I am feeling a lot more confident about taking on more characters to do for cosplay at conventions. I will put a few pictures here so you can see what I mean about cosplay. It is so cool and anyone can do it.

I've been meaning to cosplay for a while, but am too lazy to make a makeshift costume...-_- Good grief...

@IvySaysHi Oh I know that, as I've seen several costumes on sale at the conventions I've attended. It's just I'd rather for the time being at least make my own cosplay out of what I have or can find. And the realization that I'm lazy with that is kinda bothersome.

I was close in attending a cosplay when i realized that making one is expensive and my impression on those who were going to attend were rich and middle class. but recently im just happy seeing them on the internet.

No need to make them expensive. You won't be able to get every single detail but you can still make your character at a reasonable price. We can only afford to go to our local conventions because we save up and we don't live on our own yet

I've made costumes, but not of that type. One year I dressed all of my children as CareBears for a costume party. No patterns, and a budget of almost $0.
