Me Is A Second To None: Seriously?

I was browsing some of the articles written by my fellow mylotters. I suddenly remembered my former boss who seems so full of herself. In every meeting that we had, she always put herself on the spotlight. A claim of being always on the top of everything seems so inspiring for the rest of the staff in the company. At the back of my mind, it seems she is so self-centered. I do think that it is better to conceal one’s feeling and not to brag too much about oneself. For me, it would be better to compete from within, instead of criticizing others’ achievement. In my opinion, it would be healthier to be second to none by playing fare and sensitive enough not to hurt other feelings. What do you think?

I tend to agree with you about people who are self-centered......I think it's better to be more modest about yourself and your accomplishments. Besides, I feel like life is so much more meaningful when you care about the people around you.

@abhinalstrikr In some point, healthy competition should be carried out. But pulling other people just to reach one's goal. Then, it is not ideal and not be proud of being successful.
