You've probably never heard of this movie, unless you are a fan of Ghost Adventures and Zak Bagans. This is an independent movie written and directed by Ghost Adventures editor Devin Lawrence. Bagans is an Executive Producer of the movie and actually makes a cameo in the film. It happens fast. I didn't catch it but when someone posted a screen shot of the cameo on Twitter I went back and watched the trailer and saw that it was indeed Zak. It happens so fast. His name as Dr. Z. Bagans also makes a cameo, which I also missed and had to go back and look for. This movie is very innovative in that the filming style is unique. The story is shown in different points of view. In making the movie the characters took turns wearing a POV (point of view) camera on their faces so you could see exactly what they see. The idea is that different characters see and hear different things at any given time (which is true in real life) so the scenes do overlap somewhat. It is really very cool. What makes it more exciting is that it is a psychological thriller. An old friend comes storming into a couple's home during a storm. He is soaking wet and bleeding and claiming someone is out to kill him. Each character has secrets which are slowly revealed throughout the course of this 80 minute movie. And because you see things from each character's point of view, we question who is good and who is bad. The acting is sensational. The movie received an Audience Award when it premiered at the Portland Film Festival in 2015. You can rent or purchase the video through Amazon, iTunes or Google Play. There is nothing paranormal about this movie. Just a lot of craziness and an innovative style of filming. A must see for everyone (if you can handle all the swearing).

This sounds really disorienting. Did you have any trouble following events?

Not at all. The change of POV was very obvious with a kind of a rewind type of sound and black and white to start. I found it very interesting the way they did it. It was unique and kept the viewer very well informed as to what was going on. You really should check it out.
