Surprise?

Cousin who has been working abroad for a long time wanted to surprise her family with her secret homecoming. She informed no one about her arrival and armed with her luggage rang the bell of her house one fine Monday. Incidentally, the new house helper who opened the door didn’t recognize the blonde woman standing in front of her. The house helper refused to let my cousin in and insisted to protect the house of her master from 'strangers'. Frantic cousin had to call her husband before the house helper could dial 911. Surprise no surprise.

I don't know if she kinda surprise her family or been irritated by the house helper... just kidding. But it so cool to have that kind of gesture from her. But many who did here in the Philippines wo got an epic failed! Lol! Having a lot of luggage and excited to show of they totally forgot the whole of in a taxi etc.
She was the one surprised that the maid will be reporting her to 911 . I never would surprise anyone with a visit . I have to inform them so they could be ready with refreshments .

I remember when I went back to the apartment where I used to stay for a long time in Manila. The new guard didn't recognize me (of course he's new) hihi! I had to call my caretaker.

the helper just did right. If I don't know who is knocking on the gate/door, I will also refuse to let that person in.
