My husband was not well last week and after some trips to the hospital he is feeling better lately. Now my son is not well. The doctor has prescribed some medicines and asked us to check in after three days.
He says such symptoms are common after heavy floods. (Chennai saw the worst rainfall and flooding recently after nearly a century). I'm scared about his illness. He is just three and I hate to see him go through medicines and injections.

It's awful seeing kids sick and we can't do anything about it. I hope your son has a speedy recover.

hope he gets well soon, yes if there is one thing that really bothers me and make me lose concentration in my work is when the kids get sick when they were small, we do not get enough sleep watching over them. It's the same here, lots of diseases after a flood, it's good practice to separate young and elderly when somebody is sick in the family.

I tried to keep them away from each other. But these types of fevers are contagious even with minimum contact. I was in no mood to work either.

I hope he gets better soon and that you don't end up sick as well. It is really scary to see our babies in any other way but healthy and happy.

How's your little boy now? We, mothers, go crazy when our babies/kids are sick. My baby just turned seven months and she had been in ER twice.

He is alright. May be we as mothers should cut a little bit down on anxiety about our children. But it seems impossible.
