New survey website

A few days ago I did a survey on a task site I work on. The survey talked about other work home website that I never heard of. So I looked it up. It is called Prolific Academic. They do scientific surveys and they pay you in pounds. They pay through paypal. You have to get at least 5 pounds to take the money out, but they recommend you get more than 5 pounds before taking the money out because of paypal fees. The surveys have to reviewed before you get paid. At first I wasn't eligible for the surveys, but two days ago I got an email saying there were two available. I have had one of the surveys I did already reviewed. Here is the website:

No offense but I would need to know a lot more about the website and also proof that they pay before I would join and spend time and effort on the site. Too many new sites appearing all the time promising the earth.

I've given up with such sites. I don't have kids and I earn too much so they never want me.
