Poehere is a Tahitian name given to the giant black pearls found only in our waters. Here in the South Pacific you’ll find the giant black lip oyster. Inside is a beautiful treasure sought by many around the world.
How to pronounce the name Poehere
The Tahitian’s alphabet only has 13 letters. So each letter is pounced in the word. If you want to know how to say this name it’s simple:
P – O – E - H – E – R – E
The E is pounced as a soft A in the English Language.
So there now you have it. Just say each letter when you say the name and you will understand how to pronounce this name.

@Asylum No not really. I saw some comments that people think my name is funny. They have no idea how to say it. They want to call me Po or Poo which in Tahitian is an insult. Oh well names in different language are not so easy to understand.

That is the name the Tahitian's gave to them. They name their beautiful little girls Poehere which mean the beautiful black pearl. That is not what other call them it is just the name the Tahitian gave to these pearls years and years ago.
