I haven't even been here for a week, yet I turned in a lot of time on this site to understand it better and get comfortable with it.
That's why I have to laugh at myself. When a story came up posted, "The 10 best board games ever", I wanted to read it, but when I clicked it, I was on the,"Offers" page. Sure enough, the links then came abroad and I knew I goofed. Oh well, at least I'm not getting the same phone call as I did yesterday when I clicked on an offer.

Sooner or later, you will get used to it. It took me several visits before I finally learn what buttons to press to get what I want.
