I owned a bridal shop. The most expensive dress I ever sold was $1200.00.

I never spent much - my first wedding my parents paid a fortune for the dress, for the second wedding I spent maybe $50 for a blouse to wear with a black skirt I already owned = we eloped.

$75 on my first wedding dress. My mother purchased it for me. That was a dress that was marked down half price back in the 70's. I could never imagine paying so much money for a dress that you wear for a few hours and then hide it in storage.
