SuddenDeath Challenge Poem - Week 2

Words:
Sad, rain, pie, crack, island
Why are you sad, she said to me.
Look outside, the rain you see.
Not your typical soft light rain
No this one's a gusher with lots of pain.
For pain it is, inside I must stay
Not even pie can make my day.
I'd rather be outside, hard at play.
So go away, I've had my say.
A crack of lightning and jolt of thunder
Shook the house I wouldn't wonder.
It cracked the tree all asunder.
Giving me lots to ponder.
I looked outside and what a sight
An island formed in the night
For water there was and of good height
A river round the house, our plight.

You did a great job with this poem, and used all the words well. Very descriptive.

@Inlemay @Jessicalynnt gives a new challenge every week. I'm a couple weeks behind. I can write poetry, but not always spur of the moment. I now have three of them to catch up on.

@just4him I'm trying hard to drop a new one each weekend, people seem to be enjoying them, and selfishly I know I am!
