The answer is chili pepper. For some reason, a lot of humans like their food with a little heat. Do you? How many chickens do Americans eat in a year? Would you believe – about EIGHT billion. If you order “bamboo chicken” in Belize, what do you get? The answer is roasted iguana. Enjoy! Now you know! What is the most exotic food you have ever eaten. For me it was pickled rattlesnake meat. The most unusual, not really exotic I have eaten were years ago in a restaurant overseas. It was two kinds of soups. Shark fin and birds nest soup. They are very looked down upon dishes now due to cruelty and how they are caught. I am not really a foodie, but I do like curries very much which are very spicy.

I've never eaten either of those foods. I understand that they are VERY expensive though. And I did see a documentary about both actually. What country were you in?
