Does anyone remember Archie and Jughead in the comics.
With the creations of Archie they hoped to appeal to the fans of The Andy Hardy movies staring Mickey Rooney.
Now who doesn't remember Mickey Rooney.
Jughead has a sister named Jellybean and a sheepdog named Hot Dog.
Many see him as lazy, not interested in girls and loves to eat, he also has a very long noseand wears a beanie hat.
The comic strip is all about the misadventures of these teens.

They are bringing the comic book back and I believe Archie will be gay--or another one of the guys--I was reading about it recently.

@GreatMartin
The writers said they wanted to be diverse and they seem to be doing a good job of it.
Thanks for the link.

Archie and Jughead comics still exists and continues publication. The last time I heard about it, Archie already chose someone between Betty and Veronica. I also remember that they recent added their first gay character. They dress much more modern in the comics these days but the characters didnt age.

How interesting as I didn't know those comics were still in publication. I had heard from GreatMartin that he read they were going to have a gay character. I will have to see if I can find a copy of their comic.

Absolutely yes I do recall this comic strip.
That was before the show as well.
I had some of those when I was a child.
Yes I also recall with fondness Mickey Rooney.

I know of it because my dad told me about it but I've never seen one for myself. But I do know Mickey Rooney for sure. Great actor but he also seemed like a sweet and genuine guy.
