Do you love to get noticed by people?

I think everybody loves to be noticed by everyone. Or at least everybody thinks that others are looking at them. Is that true?
I have read in someone's article about his walk, in which he was on the way to somewhere and on the way he got on the wrong way. Suddenly he realised that and acted as he remembered something instantly and walked back. Actually there was no need of that act. It comes from the feeling that everybody is looking at you.
But sometimes it's really disgusting, the things they do to just get the attention on them. I have seen people showing off and I really don't like them.
Do you have this feeling that every eyes are looking on you? What do you think about people showing off? Do you love to be noticed by everyone?

I don't really like people who constantly want attention. I do like to sit there and wonder why they want it and maybe it's because as a child they didn't get enough? Or maybe they feel they aren't important enough? I don't know but I do know that I get annoyed when someone generally just loves themselves so much and always wants the focus on them even if they didn't do anything that great.
As for me, I wouldn't say I like it. I like to be noticed if I have done something good because I don't like to be taken for granted. But I start to feel out of my comfort zone when a large group is having me as their topic of conversation. In fact, even one person talking to me about me like praising something I did or giving me a compliment can be a bit uncomfortable for me too.
