Lots of Money - Lots of Money - wish I had it to spend!!!
Have to agree with you on that - it always seems like everything is getting much pricier which makes gift giving even more difficult when all the wish lists have items that are so expensive!!!! Frustrating trying to shop!!!

Yes that's exactly what I have noticed - especially when they say they are going to have a sale - it's like they automatically raise their prices and then say it's a sale when you get a small amount off the items. Ha - makes me crazy trying to shop at Chrismas Time!!!!

It's getting too commercial so yes, I do agree with you on that. It should be like it was in the old days, small simple presents rather than huge overblown gestures that don't even mean so much.

Yes i agree with you there why does every year mean you have to buy more and more and bigger and more expensive before you get any recolection of giving someone something for christmas . I just wish it was simple again also where everyone was happy if they got something at all :) Thanks for the post hope you have a plesant evening :)

I definetly find this happening. I don't know, if this is because were getting older and realizing that it's a whole lot of expense for just one day.

it gets more and more expensive every single year. Our family has grown so much over the years that it is too hard to get everyone a gift, we just buy for the kids.

It never changes, except the adverts start earlier, the toys, foods, decorations etc,are on the shelves with halloween stuff. It doesn't help with sunday opening either. I would love to know why a £2.00 toy, during the summer, shoots up to £5.00,in the run up to christmas. Trouble is the toys are the same, but worded or boxed slightly different to the year before.

My thoughts exactly they do bump up prices just before the Christmas rush begins then they knock em down again for the SALEs on January lol. You can totaly tell its the run up to Christmas when the coka cola advert comes on the TV. holidays are comin holidays are comin it is the season lol i think thats how it goes :p

The last few years, I have focused more on spending time with loved ones and less time worrying about gifts. This year, quite a number of people are getting gift cards to their favorite restaurants, bookstores, or department stores, so I really am keeping it more about people and less about spending hours buying stuff that will end up in the back of someone's closet anyway.

yep, in the panic zone overkids prezzys, have I bought enough, will they be happy, why am I so stressed about it? I know they're spoiled rotten! I wake up in the night screaming because the little voices even follow me in my dreams, chanting I want I want, I want...

Hi there - it is certainly getting more and more expensive. I love seeing my little girls face when she opens her presents from santa, but the cost of things is getting way out of hand. And this year it's taking me ages to get into the festive mood usually i have everything prepared for in October.

Christmas shopping is defently getting less exciting and more expensive. It used to be fun to get something for those you loved because you knew they needed it and appreciated what you got them. The kids have so many toys they don't know what to play with. So I'm not doing much in the way of shopping this year. I'm thinking of giving to some charity in the family's name. They may e it but it won't end up in the back of the closit or broken and in the trash befor the day is over.

yeh thats more along the lines of what i was meaning thanks for the post :) i do agree with the Charity thing but i think i would get my legs broke if i was to do that instead of by stuff for the kids lol as i always say Charity begins at home :p Totaly know what you mean by they have so much toys and stuff nowadays they just dont know what to play with to be honest if i was just to wrap a big cardboard box i think they would have the time of their life on Christmas day lol Hope your having a nice day :p

yeh but that is my point .. People seem to have forgotten about the religious side and just went with the capitalism of it all i mean crist if it wasnt for Coka Cola there would be no SANTA as we know him today :)

well yeh i guess it still is exiting to watch the kids i just meant that it was less exiting going shopping and getting the prezzies for them (it kinda like a chore now) and more expensive so we tend to just buy for the kids now and get some bulk tins of chocolate or biscuits for everyone else :p Thankis for your post hope you have a nice day :)
