A Busy, Anxious 48 Hours

The next two days are going to be busy for me. Wednesday I have to have one of those carpal tunnel tests done. It's called an EMG, and it is not fun. I've had one before (back in the late 80's/early 90's), and they are worse than the disease! They put a little electrical probe over various spots on the arm then send a small shock to see how the nerves in the arm respond. (I'd like to slap the doctor and say, "Is that a good enough response???" ) I'll get the results on Monday, hopefully from a different doctor than I saw the last time. I have spinal stenosis, but the doctor didn't want to address that until he got these results done. Then on Thursday I will do something I've never done before in my life: I'll appear before a judge. My Social Security Disability hearing is Thursday. I'm extremely anxious about that, needless to say. (Angry, too, but that's for another discussion.) I'll endure these two things, then reward myself with a concert this weekend.
