Do you know how to do origami? I do, but all I know is how to fold paper cranes. According to Japanese lore, anyone who folds a thousand paper cranes will get a wish granted by a crane. It was fun to do, and during my depressed times, I folded paper cranes. I think I lost count somewhere around 600+ paper cranes. I still have them in my plastic tote. I looked online and I saw some paper cranes mounted on picture frame and arranged and glued in a certain pattern. I want to learn other origami folds. So far, all I know other than cranes are paper boats and paper airplanes.

I learned about this paper cranes in connection wi Ann Frank. I'm sure you know her who was a victim of the world war bombings. She did this and believed she will be granted a wish to live longer.
