When I was still studying in university, I have the chance to meet the historical president of the Philippines, Ferdinand Marcos. I saw his glass coffin in Ilocos region in the Philippines. I am sure most of you will raised eyebrows why he is so significant to my life. I know the fact that there are so many speculations and issues attached to his name. For me, he was the best president in terms of delivering his speech without any que cards holding. And even teleprompter devices are not popular during his time. He may not be the best president for other fellowmen. But I admire his ability to carry himself in having his speech during the State of the Nation (SONA). It made him one of the historical figures that affects many lives in my country. How about you, guys?

I have not personally talked with any historical figure but I have seen a few ones very closely, like de Gaulle during a meeting when I was a child (he was somebody like Marcos in your country), or the pope Paul VI during a Papal audience in 1975.

@Letranknight2015 I adore Miriam Santiago. I like the way she delivers her thoughts. There is really something in her.

. If you visit Vatican City, you should try to assist to a Papal audience to see the Pope very closely.
