How would you comment on the sexual crimes that always happen in India ?

I feel sorry to see all those sexual crimes happen in India all the times from CNN or just with Google News. Female should be treated with respect and I don't know how would people keep doing things like that but looks like not much things that the government can do about it. I got it from the news that female seems has a low social status in India and when such crimes happen, some female can be the target to be blame for as well. Some people even attempt not to say that the criminal guys or gangsters are the bad guys. No wonder many Indian female wanted to stand up to protest about this phenomenon and justice as well. What do you think about this and share with us?

A few thousand years of thinking is hard to get rid of in a single generation.
Even though India is a democracy in term of politics, apparently the people feel otherwise in normal life.
The only way is to have a cultural revolution and tough law so that the guys dare not commit such act.

Agree. And I think it is not a easy job but something really needs to be done in a powerful way.What is that ? Frankly speaking I don't know. it is better to have the India people to answer it by themselves since we are just not familiar with their history and culture. but I think the new generation really needs to know what it means to respect female.
