Hello Lotters,
This morning in order to keep myself waiting like the last time, I went early to register and made me number 1 on the list and got the latest test. Though It was early the doctor came late as usual because of traffic.
Well, it's official, Im high on uric acid, probably the corn-snack that i've been eating last year or last few years, should have listen to mom long time ago. I was told not to exercise and rest for two months w/ medication until the pain subsides.
I will come back again for another blood test hoping the uric acid had subside. medications were a bit expensive too, but its okay the real challenge is diet and loosing 30 pounds.
I can't imagine my elder siblings, specially the eldest who has the same uric acid problem as i do but doesn't do his own diet.
But now I've learned a lot and will do my best not to let this happen again.

Nice to see your face at last @Letranknight2015
Like you 'm also trying to loose some weight. It takes a lot of discipline and self control to say no to eating our favorite food. Just eat with moderation and try to avoid drinking too much canned juices or colas and avoid drinking cold water. Soon you will notice feeling lighter and less bloated.

@Letranknight2015 I know its difficult but give it a try to drink water at room temperature and also try to substitute coke with drinking tea... not "neastea" but black tea or green tea that is not cold but lukewarm or at room temperature. My answer to your question why would have to be ...your blood circulating in your body is warm and your organs inside your body is warm so if you take in food that is frozen or extremely cold it will create adverse effects on your body.

WHAT? Even cold water? why? what's going to happen, I drink cold juice after breakfast. I mean i put the juice in the freezer. So, it's okay to drink coke but not so much.what concerns me the most is getting rid of this uric acid problem, because i can't loose weight fast if it doesn't involve jogging or cycling. now, it's even harder to sweat. @mammots yeah, the feeling is great lately.
