NOT MANY ACTIVE HERE

Even though it is my second day here at my lot i have noticed something unique.all the discussion i have been part of and all the posts that i see or read,almost all of them have similar people getting engaged in discussions.Which makes me believe that there are not many people active here(which is surprising since it is probably the the most unique networking sites).correct me if i am wrong regarding this thought of less active member here.but that is something that i have noticed

You are right. The core of active members is still quite small though it's difficult to say how many there are - possibly somewhere in the region of 200 to 300. A recent count of the number of discussions posted in a day gave the figure of roughly 340 but many people post more than one a day and many others post less but are more active in responding.
Before 2013 (when MyLot closed its earnings program) there used to be many more active members. Since August 2015, when the earnings program reopened, some of the old members returned and quite a few new members have joined but, for various reasons, some of those members visit less frequently or not at all. This is quite natural and to be expected. Not everyone finds MyLot to their taste and many don't have sufficient English skills to make it work for them.
In many ways, a slow but steady increase of regular and dedicated members is what the site needs to survive and is what is best for the health of the site.

I think you're right, @owlwings Some years ago, there were a lot of members here that were pretty active, then they just went (I guess I'm one of those, hehe!). I just thought of checking out the site again after looking into past emails in my inbox. I kind of missed this, interacting with people from everywhere.
But not everyone came back. But that's okay. Maybe it will take some time for the community to grow. But as it is, I'm enjoying my time here.

I am in no position to say anything as I am in a time zone that does not give me the right picture. Whatever we see in people or explore categories shows an activity lasting just 24 hours. You may be right though.

I dont know how many are active, but I think it's actually quite busy. I have noticed that not everything shows up on the front pages, so I follow some active people, and then go from there.

I too see similar people. Some of them I have great time interacting. I do go search for new people or new topics of my interest........But yes there are certain members that are regular........
