I just heard this from a friend and I am told that when you shampoo to much it could be bad for your hair and that it may cause baldness? Do you think this is true? I've searched all over the internet and some articles say it's true while some say it's a myth so I decided to start a discussion about this to hear what you guys have to say about this. Do you believe this?

I've heard that the Wen shampoo and conditioner products can make you lose hair . think it depends on the ingredients and perhaps a chemical reaction with individual people. I've heard it's better to go natural when it comes to shampoo and conditioner. Using nature ingredients instead.

I think it is true. My hair is shedding a lot so now I am showering my hair every other day or so. Before, I didn't because my hair would get so oily, but now I found a shampoo that works for me!

I do think if you shampoo to much you could go bald but of course it might also depend on the type of shampoo you are using.

Not true at all. Nearly everyone in the world use shampoo, and yet we do not see many people getting bald.

Shampooing is the only reason i still have hair in my head. Cause getting bald is genetic in my case. And my hair is very thin. I already planned to get bald forever, as there is no option for me.

I think this is a myth. In fact, I thought shampoo was supposed to help your hair be healthy which would probably stop you going bald.

I think it is a myth for some people. If the substance is so strong, it could cause alopecia or baldness. However, baldness can also a hereditary in nature.
