Assuming that you believe in them, do you think fairie wings are more like dragonfly wings, butterfly wings or angel wings? I've personally never had the pleasure of seeing a faerie but I hope to one day... maybe whenever I get around to visiting Ireland

Their wings are distint depending on the fairy's personality. http://www.amybrownart.com/ has great pictures of fairies...

Oh I know, her art is simply amazing! I have one of her pictures (well I think it's one of hers) as my desktop background.

I'm gonna try to get one of her faeries as my next tattoo, they fit my idea of how a faery looks.

That's cool. I wanted a faerie tattoo when I got my second one but my artist was 2 weeks behind on customized tats so I just decided to get one from his books, I picked out a celticy looking design with a triquetra in the center done in black and purple on my lower back.

I like you have never had the pleasure of seeing a real live fairie. I would think though from all the shows and cartoons of them that they look like dragonfly wings more then the other two. I read in Sylvia Brownes book Phenomenon that she seen one while visiting Ireland so if she says she seen one then they must exist.

I think they are dragonfly like. I haven't seen a faerie either. It would be great to interact with one.

I'd say a cross between dragonflies and butterflies....smaller than butterflies.. but prettier than dragonflies..
