Writing a blurb for a book

The following is a blurb I'm considering using for my short story book Grue Tales. Murder and Mayhem, Frights and Delights Devilish Characters and things that creep in the night. Haunting and ghosts, witches and brews So many stories within to amuse. While writing comes fairly easy for me I seem to struggle with the blurb writing. I do like this one and will most likely use it and perhaps add to it for use on the back cover.

Nice work. Just make sure your publisher approves it, unless you're self-pubbing it. Do you research at PR&E too.

I've been to the site. I go indie so I don't need any approval from anyone but me.

@irishidid Okay. Amazon? Or Createspace? I know there's others too...

While the blurb is compelling, I would simply file it in a notebook until you have finished writing the story.

The book is done, just waiting to get it edited.

That made me chuckle, and would likely make me check out the book. So, job well done.

Thanks. This one seemed a bit easier to write than the ones I had to write for my other novels.
