If you won the lottery, what's the first thing that you would do?

If you for real won the lottery, what's the first thing that you would do? I think the first thing that I would do, is pay up all of my debts, and than, I would buy me a house in Thailand,(That's where my people are from). And than I would save the rest of the money to live on in Thailand. Of course, I would come back to the states, once in awhile to visit my American family. But, my home would probably be in Thailand. So, What would you do if you won the lottery? What would you buy?

Pay off the bills of course and then have some updates done on my 16 1/2 acres of land @danny1971 .

@danny1971 At one time I wanted to go to Egypt to see the pyramids but now with my spinal injuries, it kills me to drive 2 hours anywhere, let alone travel and then do any sightseeing.

Go to the bank and make the deposit :) buy a ticket for an airplane and leave for the tropical places, buy a house and just be.

yup! Sounds like a winner to me! Put most of it in the bank would probably be the smartest thing to do with all of these nuts out here, ya know? LOL

Firstly get a lawyer! I don't want my name or any other info put out to the public. I want to carry on with out people knocking at my door for money. Sure I'd like to upgrade our life style, but depending on what you won would you spend it all right away foolishly or take a more modest approach.

If I won the lottery, I'd pay my debts and credit card bills, then give a portion of winnings to my family and invest some for my children's studies. The rest I will put it in the bank.

if I win the lottery I won though now only € 50.
But if you win a large sum of money I paid all the debts and would make your house much more comfortable I improved everything in it.
and I have to set aside money for a rainy day.

The first thing I would do is lay off all of our bills, buy a house, a few car which is need badly, help my husband finish off his degree so he can be a teacher and out the rest of the money away for savings as well as a small a,punt towards our children's college funds.

@danny1971,If a miracle takes place and I win a lottery,the first thing I would do is buy a small house of my choice at a location suitable to me.Having done this,I would buy a large number of books of my choice.
