Haggling to the Extreme

I love shopping! A little too much, and sometimes I just splurge shop and end up not even "loving" the item enough to keep. Then, I can't find the receipt, or the item is stashed away in my closet and I forget about the item, doesn't fit me anymore, etc. So, I end up selling my brand new with tags or pre-loved clothes/handbags/shoes/etc. online. When I price my items, I always give a buffer (or room to let people lower the price) so it's a win/win situation. However, once in a while there is THAT person who will haggle you to the extreme. I had one where I listed an item for $55 and in my mind I would accept anywhere from $30-40 because I just want my money back (as I used a gift card to pay the difference) but the retail was $100. The girl offered me $14. Immediately, I rejected her offer as I don't have time to waste to haggle back and forth toward a compromise. Fast forward 2 weeks later, I sold the item for $30 instead. The girl was upset saying if I had wanted "$30" why didn't I tell her? Because, I don't want to waste my time playing a game of haggling nor am I desperate/in a rush to sell either. And, speaking about haggling just today, I have a Coach handbag (new with tags, never used/worn) listed for $50 and I received an offer of $15, which I immediately rejected. They can go search for a used bag for that price. Do you over do it when it comes to haggling? Or do you have the patience?

It is not very common to haggle in stores - just online or whole sale places.

I understand what you're talking about- I'm a direct person and don't mind haggling but only when it's done within reason and the other person is not just playing around or trying to get something for nothing.
