A report from ESPN.com said on Wednesday the Los Angeles Rams are interested in signing current Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning to join their team before the start of the 2016 football season.
One scenario would be that Manning would be released by the Broncos at the start of free agency in March due to the fact they may not be interested in keeping the 39 year old signal caller for his final year of a five year contract he signed as a free agent before the start of the 2012 football season.
The report suggests that current Los Angeles Rams head coach Jeff Fisher would like to work with Manning it is likely that he would serve as a mentor to their current quarterbacks Case Keenum and Nick Foles since Fisher who was the former head coach of Tennessee Titans has battled Manning when he was the quarterback of the Indianapolis Colts.
Manning as of Wednesday has not mentioned anything about either retiring from playing football at the conclusion of Super Bowl 50 or coming back for one more season.
My guess is that Manning does not to create a distraction from his teammates during Super Bowl hype week.
In my view Manning would be wise to walk away from the game of football at the end of the 2015 football season since injuries to his foot has slowed down his excellent field performance.

I didn't see this on ESPN however I feel win or lose, the super bowl is going to be his last game. He may want to become a coach at some point if he desires. he's had a stellar career. Whenever he chooses to leave the game, it will be a sad day for football.
